What do you think is the most significant invention ever made?

 Antibiotics are beneficial for patients who are having pain from bacterial diseases such as smallpox, plague, tuberculosis and etc. If there is no antibiotic, the human population is most likely will decrease. During 1347, half of the European population decreased due to the severe infection called Plague. Moreover, the disease such as smallpox reduced the population of North Americans nearly 90 percents. Try to imagine what it would be like if there is no antibiotic since the modern time. Antibiotic benefits us in many different ways such as saving lives and let us know about the great scientists, who invented antibiotic.

Antibiotics were invented by Ernst Boris Chain (1906–1979) & Howard Florey (1898–1968), the famous scientists during that period of time. They both expanded the antibiotic research of Alexander Fleming, the Scottish bacteriologist’s work. Chain and Florey had the idea of  antibiotic could be used to kill diseases and dangerous bacterial. They determined to make it successful. They went to the U.S to investigate more about antibacterial. With the help of Robert D. Coghill and many great scientists, the antibiotics were safely invented. There are also many different types of antibiotics which benefits on fungus and bacteria. However, they also invented the great name for this miracle drug. The word Antibiotic comes from Greek language anti means 'against' and bios means 'life in another word against bacteria’s life. This great medicine is known as antibacterial or miracle drug. Antibacterial are influential medicine that fight bacterial infections or keep them from reproducing bacterial.

Since 19^th century, antibiotics have been the main key of saving people lives. For example: In an emergency time, when life is at the risk, antibiotics can be extremely effective.  They either keep them from reproducing or r kill bacteria.  In the history, people who suffered terribly from chronic infections sever diseases or something simple such as toothache or cold, this medicine could make a different. When the medicine were made, by 1944 many of medicine companies started making a 100 billion of penicillin per month. After this drug's miraculous effects on these soldiers, women and children infection, more of this drug was demand from the medical companies in the United States. Researchers believe that penicillin was one of the indirect    causes of the victory of the allies during the war. Bacteria have been around for hundreds of years. They have survived for so long time because they are able to transform in many versions and developing themselves to fight with medicines and vaccines. However, it can be solve by this medicine.

 To conclude, Antibiotic benefits us in many different ways by saving people and increases our population. Even though, this medicine is a miracle, but it do not fight infection caused by viruses, such as flu, sore throats, bronchitis and colds. Thank to Antibiotic for helping our generation alive in the present day. In the elderly time, when there was not antibiotics.
